The area of Sant Andreu

The district of Sant Andreu maintains its traditional character and a special vibe that is being preserved by its old and cobbled streets, squares with arcades and centenarian shops. Roman remains can be found here, and you can also discover beautiful country houses that speak of a rural past of a town that became an urban nucleus and ended up being part of the Barcelona city of today. The area also conserves its industrial past by modernizing its industrial venues such as the Pegaso Park in La Sagrera and among others, the Creation Factory and the Cultural Center Can Fabra.

Nowadays San Andreu is one of the newest residential areas of Barcelona, very well connected with the city center by several metro, buses and train lines.
