Surrounded by the wonderful countryside of the Gers, near Saramon, this beautiful country house is beautifully posed on a hilltop, so you are always assured of a wonderful view over the rolling hillsides and the ever impressive Pyrenees Mountains on a clear day.

Dating back to the late 18th century, when in the era of Napoleon it was a horse breeding farm. Over the years the Manor was rebuilt to offer the required comfort, but its stately character has been very well preserved.

When you enter the hallway, you will see that this House has been redecorated with great care and sense of detail. On the ground floor the dining room and the reception open up to the spacious hallway, both with a nice fireplace, and an old bread oven in the dining room. This room (with French doors opening unto the terrace) also offers a passage to the large kitchen which is fully equipped and from where you walk on to the large terrace on the Southside, that in the summer is overshadowed by grape leaves.

The ground floor offers a pantry and a large summer kitchen with a staircase to the attic. A large workshop and a carport are added features.

The first floor offers 5 spacious double bedrooms (four with fireplace) with plenty of cupboard space, three family bathrooms, a dressing and an office.

The House is 2 km from the nice lively market village Saramon. In this village the World Championship "eat duck breast" are held in the summer, just so you know!

On the nearby lake you can pass your summerdays to your heart's content.

The village Saramon is located between the two historical cities: Auch (the capital of the Gers) and Lombez/Samatan where a large local market is held every Monday.

For easy access by plane: Toulouse is only an hour's drive . Within an hour and a half you will be on the ski slopes of the snowy Pyrenees Mountains. This beautiful Manor near Saramon offers so much more that I cannot capture in words.
