The layout of the house is what also first attracted us to the property when we bought it. The central stair case gives easy access to all the bedrooms and the bathroom.

The main bedroom has a walk in wardrobe which could be turned into and en suite.

The bathroom is sizable and big enough to install a corner or even middle bath and a separate shower.

The top floor has been converted from two bedrooms into a living room area, on one side a bar area and on the other a woodburner ideal for entertaining. This upper reception / entertaining area leads out to the back patio with a BBQ area.

The whole house has been rewired and enjoys a rustic feel.

The house is located in a very traditional street over looked by the mountain side and is one of the oldest streets in Loja known before as ' los tajillos de characha'. Legend has it that years ago a man called Characha lived above the town in the mountain side as the town grew and the streets made it to where he lived they named the street after him.

When you live in the house it has a campo feel to it almost like you are in the middle of nowhere but in reality you are only 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre or the local square ' meson de arroyo'

No explanation is needed of the splendor of the town of Loja as there are so many websites out there describing it.
