Bishop McCabe Village - TOWRADGI - NSW

Bishop McCabe Village

Bishop McCabe Village is an independent living community of 24 units, located in Wollongong's northern suburb of Towradgi. It is part of the St Mary's Retirement Village located at Berkeley in Wollongong's southern suburbs.

Bishop McCabe Village enjoys a quiet, peaceful setting. A number of the units at Bishop McCabe Village are at first floor, with walk-up stairways. The residents' recreation room lies at the centre of the village and is a great resource for activities, meetings and craft groups.

St Mary's Retirement Village is also an important part of the Wollongong aged care ministry, providing residential services to older people, if required.

As the Bishop McCabe Village is a 'stand-alone' service, every effort is made by the management of St Mary's Retirement Village to assist residents should their care needs change and support be needed from a low care residential aged community such as St Mary's Retirement Village at Berkeley.

Bishop McCabe Village provides residents:

* A choice of units types
* Carports on a weekly fee basis
* Landscaped gardens
* Outdoor drying spaces
* Support from hostel management personnel
* Opportunity to participate in the Residents' Committee.
