Charatcer Longere With Great Views

Lovingly renovated and modernised this period family home has commanding views over the valley and is surrounded by rural fields. A great setting in which to relax and unwind whilst retaining the amenities within a short distance. The local village has a great restaurant, post office, school, bakers, etc. and the nearby chateau is the birthplace for the famous French poet Ronsard. Further afeild sees you in La Chartre-sur-Loir, Montoire, Vendome or Tours. The longere now offers; entrance hall leading to the kitchen (needs finishing), dining room with feature beams and fireplace, lounge with stairs to the 1st floor, breakfast room, study, cloakroom/summer kitchen, boiler room, large family bathroom, downstairs master bedroom with ensuite washroom. Upstairs has a mezzanine area providing access to a large double bedroom with summer room (possibly another bedroom) with great views, washroom, dormer bedroom and space to create another bedroom. Outside we have over an acre of land nicely laid out with paths and mature plants, there's a double garage with loft space, underground storage space and wine cellar (with scope to extend the house above if required), well and a pool to be finished. The current owner has completed most of the work but ill health prevents him from doing anymore. This home is ideal for a family looking to enjoy the aspects of country life in the Loire Valley with the possibility to put your own stamp on the property with most of the hard work already done. A lovely quiet location with good access to amenities in this popular area. Note: Possibility to purchase another 4 acre paddock with stabling (POA). (reference: NLEN001858)
