Roof insulated, walls insulated, windows/doors with double glazing and electric shutters. Heating with electric radiators and woodstove. Electric hot water heater on solar energy. Electricity correct. Septic tank with soak away bed. Ventilation system. Result energy report is B, which is outstanding!!

The house is situated in the nice village of Millac, that has a bakery/bar/grocery store. At 5 km lies l'Isle Jourdain, a tourist town on the banks of the Vienne river with all the necessary commerce's. The region is characterised by its green river valleys and the rural country side; it is influenced by the Atlantic coast and has a micro-climate with moderated winters and nice summers.
