Cortijo / Country House in Sorbas

A fantastic opportunity to purchase a private, country property set in a beautiful landscape overlooking rolling countryside, yet walking distance to a local Restaurant/Bar. This property is a one bedroom, detached, one storey property. It was built only 10 years ago and has been used by the current owners as a small holding/farm and as a full time residence. This property has the benefit of low anual overheads being powered by a solar system with a back-up generator. The property also has mains/town hall water. In addition there is a good sized utility/casita building that homes some of the solar equipment as well as a WC, these items could be re-sited and the casita as a spare bedroom. There are also two further store sheds as well as a caravan which is included in the sale. The majority of the land is fenced as it has housed ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks and dogs. There are chicken houses on the property which are in good condition. On entering the house there is a fitted kitchen with good amounts of storage and a small breakfast table. This leads on to a sitting room with a feature fireplace and log burner. There is a good sized double bedroom with en-suite bathroom . The sitting room leads to a spacious covered terrace, a great space used as further living/dining/entertaining area. This room has direct access to the gardens and views over the land. It has been cleverly covered with a toldo system which can be opened as you wish. This area is usable all year round and makes for a great space for both dining and relaxing. The house benefits from being situated away from the main village in a lovely private location, not being overlooked at all. There are many mature fruit trees already planted in the grounds along with the almond and olive trees. A fabulous property well priced for a quick sale
