Description

Situated all on its own, in the middle of nowhere, but only a 5 minute drive to shops and cafes, this is one for a bit of rural bliss. The property has been arranged a trifle strangely, in that the main house is all bedrooms and the smaller house has the kitchen, diner and sitting room - bizarrely, I can see that working quite well if there are a range of age groups to cater for!

Into the main house we have a hall with a bedroom to the left of 12m2, past the stair to the right, we have a 2nd bedroom of 18m2 with exposed beams and old terracotta floor. At the end of the hall we have two more bedrooms of 12m2 and 14m2 with parquet floors, with, to the left a bathroom and laundry room.

Upstairs we have two big and lovely bedrooms, one of 28m2, the other 40m2 each with superb beams. A 7th bedroom is actually tucked around the back of the house - is this the equivalent of the French naughty step?

The second house has an open plan kitchen / diner and sitting room all told around 80m2, with great beams, floor and fireplace - this also has a big heat condenser central heating system. There is a simply huge barn, in very good nick and the house is set in the middle of 13 hectares of mixed woods and pasture - what a setting!

Not sure if I would keep it the way it is laid out, currently, thought it may well work for larger families, either way a little bit of revision to do, but what a fantastic spot!
