La Romana is a picturesque village 30 minutes inland from Alicante Airport with a good range of local facilities including an excellent primary school, supermarkets, bakeries, doctors, bar and restaurants. La Romana is a typically Spanish village with wine and olive productions at its heart. There are weekly markets and an excellent sense of community. The village benefits from excellent road and motorways access to the larger historic towns of Elche, Alicante and only 30 minutes from the Costa Blanca coast and nearest beaches. If you like the idea of traditional Spanish country living within easy reach of modern day then La Romana is the perfect location.
