Country House with Seven Bedrooms Caldas da Rainha

This large country house is situated on the outskirts of Caldas da Rainha on the beautiful Silver Coast.

From the main road you drive down to this private country house which has its own driveway.

Walk through the garden gates leading into the main entrance of this grand country house.

As you enter into a hallway you have to your right double wooden doors to a dining room which is open plan which leads into a comfortable lounge area with view of the country side. The double windows of the lounge/diner let in lots of light.

A wooden staircase leads up to the main landing providing access to the seven bedrooms and study.

There are four double bedrooms, two with breath-taking views of the country side. Two of the bedrooms overlook the front gardens one of which has its own veranda.

A single bedroom overlooks the back over the country hills in the distance.

There is a well-designed bathroom with mosaics and with a fitted bath giving you plenty of space.

To the far end of this corridor there is a separate area where you have a private bedroom area which could be used as an independent accommodation.

This area consists of two large single bedrooms overlooking onto the front gardens, each having their own veranda. This is linked to a lounge area which is cosy , giving you access to a study room which overlooks on to the views of distance villages. And there is also a cloakroom with hand basin.

All floors of the bedrooms on this landing are in parquet , with wooden doors and skirting boards.

The window frames are of wood, with external shutters.

There is a large kitchen fitted in wall and bas units with wood fronts. The work surfaces are in marble and there is also an island providing extra workspace and storage. The oven is duel fuel using gas and wood. The large pantry store holds a 300litre water tank for domestic hot water.

From the kitchen you have access to a double garage, which could be transformed into a living accommodation, should you need more! This garage has a measurement of 60meteres.It has an up and over garage door leading out onto the large open space patio.

The outside patio has lots of open space and is totally walled all around safe for children and animals. Attached alongside to the garage is a small room which has been prepared to be used as a cloakroom.

Adjacent to the house is a very large separate garage which has stairs leading to the first floor with three rooms, which are unfinished. The rooms have windows with great views. This could be transformed into a living accommodation should you need more!

Leading off from the patio you have access on to the land, which is used as for planting vegetables. There are Orange and Lemon trees. There may be a possibility of additional construction. There is enough space for a pool to be built.

There are other annexes, which are used for keeping animals.

The land has two water wells which have electric pumps which can be used for the watering the land. The land has excellent fertile soil producing a wonderful abundance of vegetables.

The views of the country hills are of the village towns of Salir de Matos, Cruz, Guisada, Abrantes and Sao Domingos.

The house is connected to the mains water and electric.

In five minutes you can be in the heart of the beautiful Thermal Spa town of Caldas da Rainha and you are a twenty minute drive to the lovely fishing town and beach of Foz do Arelho.

In Foz you will find the best company for a drink in the local bars and coffee shops. It has a lovely lagoon which is safe for children to play and swim.

From the entrance into Foz do Arelho along the beach you may take a walk along the beautiful marginal Avenida. Close by are other golden beaches here of the Silver Coast, Peniche, Sao Martinho do Porto, Nazare.

Caldas da Rainha has excellent coach service to Lisbon and up to the north of PortugalCaldas also has a train service to other parts of the country.

Caldas da Rainha is equipped with 8 excellent supermarkets. Also an open air fruit and vegetable market which is open seven days a week, also you can buy fresh cut flowers.
