Moussac is a small village on the borders of the river Vienne, at the rivers edge is a very good canoe/kayaking centre and the hillsides are nicely occupied by some pretty nice chateau's. It is one of several villages along the river, all only a short ride from each other giving you all the leisure facilities and water sports you will need on your holidays in France.

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Poitiers and Limoges and trains at Lussac Les Chateaux - 10km having links to services to Poitiers train station where you have TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.

The current owner is now retired an looking to relocate; the house does need refreshing and renovating in areas and although it has a shower room, this would need work. It has 2 front doors and a back door, so it is possible that it was two little houses initially; I would change one door to a window. At the front of the property you have the space to put a nice little table; this is rural France, it will be more peaceful than a picnic in the park!
