Dream House In The Gers Region

This dream-house is near Mirande in the Gers region of south-west France, a nice little town with all amenities. This house was bought by an art & crafts enthusiast who did the stunning renovation work himself, you will find it everywhere in the house: floors, walls, fireplaces, character features and lovely details that made a very special house to live in.

Set on about an acre of land. All the rooms in the house are big but cosy at the same time.

Upstairs 2 (extra) bedrooms used as a B&B.

On the land you will find a barn / stable and attached to the house a huge barn where first renovation work has started to make more apartments or gites. The house is just besides a quiet country lane (about 6 cars a day) but the house is facing the surounding countryside where organic crops are growing.

Round the house some nice cosy corners with old features that created a small paradise.

The Gers region is the second best chosen region to live in, in all of France, beautiful weather, micro climate, friendly Frenach people, rolling hills and last but not least the impressive Pyrenees.

The largest Gersoise towns in terms of number of inhabitants are Auch, Condom and Fleurance but even these are not overly large.
