Although access, at present, is from the outside, one could consider creating a doorway (via an existing house window) and, subject to planning permission, create a living area adjoined to the main household.
Adjoining the gite is another area that one could also contemplate renovating (again, subject to planning permission).

The department of Hautes-Pyrenees is the southern-most department of the Midi Pyrenees region, its capital being the beautiful town of Tarbes.
