Description:

Our client is looking for a highly organized individual with creative flair who can plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of global events from private dining to thought leadership seminars, and industry exhibitions to larger client entertainment.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement an effective Events Strategy, working with the business and support functions

Conduct post-event evaluation and analysis to gauge return of investment

Coordinate venue management and supplier relationships

Prepare delegate packs and papers

Cross jurisdictional support which may require travel to offices outside of Jersey

Investigate new opportunities to attend/create events

Offer flexibility to work outside of normal office hours

Competencies:

Minimum of 3 years’ previous events experience within a marketing department ideally in a professional services environment

Solid administration experience and competency

Ideally, a relevant marketing qualification

Able to meet deadlines

Good IT skills, including full Microsoft suite with the ability to quickly assume knowledge on new programmes

Ideally, but not essential, experience with CRM systems

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Commercial awareness and industry awareness

Candidates must be classified as ‘Entitled’ or ‘Entitled to Work’ under the Jersey Control of Housing & Work Law.
