Fabulous 3 Bedroom Villa with pool and sea and lagoon views

Situated in Foz do Arleho, this elevated property is walking distance to the town and beach and has amazing views over Obidos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean.

The property also boasts a large infinity pool, solar hot water, all bedrooms with pool and sea view a large room for extra accommoodation, garage and a roof terrace.

The property consists of 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge diner, 3 bathrooms, storage and garage.

Approaching the house, the property sits in an elevated position on a quiet road.

The main entrance to the villa is to the rear of the house.

A driveway leads from the road up to an electric gate and into a courtyard area. The courtyard is laid out to accommodate one car and there is a large gravelled area which could be changed to park more cars. Currently there are a number of small fruit trees here with irritation.

The property is accessed through large double doors in a teak finish and opens up onto the large open plan lounge diner.

The lounge has tiled floors and a large patio door and glassed area offering great panoramic views over the ocean and lagoon.

To the right of this is a small cloakroom and then large glass double doors leading to the kitchen.

The kitchen has a range of over and under units in white and has fitted oven and hob with extractor plus plumbing for a dishwasher and washing machine. The balcony runs across the entire front of the villa and all the bedrooms open onto this balcony. There are stairs from here leading down to the pool and decking and gardens.

From the lounge a corridor runs across the rear of the property leading to three bedrooms and a bathroom and also the stairs leading the large cellar area. The corridor has several windows to the rear providing plenty of light.

Bedrooms

All the bedrooms are a good size with fitted wardrobes and a full wall patio door.

The master bedroom is a corner suite with 4 piece bathroom with shower over the bath and a large patio door plus windows along the end wall providing plenty of light and views over the pool, sea and gardens.

The other two bedrooms are easily large enough for twin beds and one of them shares a Jack and Jill door with the family bathroom effectively creating a second en suite.

All bedrooms are fitted with electric shutters, beach wardrobes and light ceramic floors.

The stairs from the corridor lead down to the spacious cellar.

Downstairs

The cellar and garage cover the whole of the ground floor of the building, the same space as the living area giving around an extra 100m2 of living space. The cellar and garage areas have small windows that look out over the decking and pool area and with some creativity, it would be possible to create a second apartment for rentals or additional accommodation.

Outside

Outside the house, the gardens are low maintenance with a large rear area, sloped gardens planted with flowering succulents and the large garden to the front of the property.

The pool area is accessed from the side garden and also form the balcony across the front of the villa via a small set of steps.

The decking area around the 10 x 5 meter infinity pool is finished in ceramic non slip tiles.

One final bonus to the house is the huge roof terrace which is accessed via a set of stairs from the rear of the property.

The roof is fully tiled and fenced over half of it. This would be a great area to maybe have a Jacuzzi and glass walls looking out over the magnificent uninterrupted views of the sea and out the the nature reserve of the Berlengas Islands.

The Area

Foz do Arelho is a popular holiday destination and is a year round resort with many locals and some expats living in the area. The town boasts many restaurants with excellent seafood and local cuisine, many bars, mini markets, butcher, paper shop, pharmacy and more. Plus there are some great beaches in wlaking distance and the fabulous bird-life of the lagoon.

Just a short drive away are the popular world-class golf courses of the Silver Coast.

For culture and shopping, we have close by the towns of Obidos, Caldas da Rainha, Peniche, Alcobaca, Lourinha and just an hour away by car or coach is Lisbon.

Overview

This property would make a great holiday home or if you are looking for a property to create an income as well, this could be a great investment.

The finishes on this villa are excellent and the potential for development is good with the large cellar.
