Situated in gorgeous countryside with the land bounded by streams, this is another lovely little idyll - with a couple of caveats! The property is at the end of a lane which, thereafter continues down to the river and on into the small town of L'Isle Jourdain - about 500m walk. The real downside to the whole property is that a large HEP station is situated on the river and you need to pass all the electric generator stuff on the way to the house - a bit unsightly as you arrive, but you can't see it from the property and at least its renewable!
Onto the property we have an old farmyard with a run of old pigstys to the left, finished by a bread oven (perfect gite project, if you're bored). At the end we have the big farmhouse, and to the right we have a barn of 400m2 with new roof, a hanger and a garage with pit. Into the house we have a hall with, to the right a lovely sitting room of around 20m2 with stone tiles, great fireplace and French windows out to the (unfinished) terrace - pretty views down the pasture to the woods where the stream runs through. There is a basic kitchen and a bathroom and a pretty bedroom of 16m2 with fireplace.
Upstairs we have a big landing with a small bedroom and a larger with parquet. A small room on the landing has been prepared as a 2nd bathroom - but all to do, here. A 4th bedroom is larger at around 20m2 with exposed beams and parquet floors. Each of the main rooms of the house is supplied with the latest heat exchange aircon units (hot and cold) - 5 in all. Lots of pluses, here, the land and streams, the farmyard, the house and the barns, as well as the easy walk into town, but you will have to get over the initial shock of the electicity generators (pardon the pun!).
