The building was restored a few years ago and more recent improvements have been made such as a new kitchen and bathroom.

It consists of a ground floor and a first floor mezzanine, for a total area of 80m2.

Ground floor - large living/dining room with wood-burner, kitchen with new units and fireplace and wood-burning oven, bathroom, hallway and stairs, store cupboard.

Mezzanine floor - there is space for 1 or 2 bedrooms, but there is currently one bedroom, plus a large open plan area suitable as living room, study or second bedroom. Walkway around the gallery overlooking the ground floor below.

Some typical Tuscan features such as stone architraves, cotto floors, and an open, spacious feeling.

Access - there is a track to the village. It is passable with a 4x4 and if improvements were made in a couple of points it could also be made passable with a normal car.
The track continues past the property and is just used occasionally by locals accessing a couple of barns further on.

Village - has 3 shops, 2 restaurants, church, summer bar, bus to Bagni di Lucca.

Bagni di Lucca has shops, restaurants, bars, train station, public pools, thermal baths, famous monuments such as the old casino and the suspension bridge, theatre, tennis club, market, banks, post offices, supermarkets, doctor's etc.
