Description

Are you looking for a comfortable house located in the middle of tranquility surrounded by forests, lakes, & rivers?
Architect designed house in a mix of stone and a wood frame construction, combining tradition and modernity with a barn restored in its lower part and serving as a starting point for this magnificent property.
185 m2 of living space on one level: entrance, living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (walk-in showers), kitchen, dining room, dressing rooms, pantry, 2 toilets, cupboards, oak and stoneware floors, interior frames in chestnut, wooden exterior frames and double glazing.
2 Jotul wood stoves.
72 m2 of a barn with convertible attic in the upper part of the barn accessible from the outside (possibility of internal stairs).
1 wood shelter.
8,609 m2 of land: trellis, garden, and meadow around the house. Very rare in this sector! The stone and wood frame has all been built by local craftsman, with good levels of insulation, Douglas fir from the Corrèze.
Situated on the heights, a quarter of an hour from Argentat-sur-Dordogne and ten minutes from Marcillac-la-Croisille, this is a unique large house combining comfort and simplicity. The superb lake at Gros Chastang is right on your door step for those seeking water sports.
