Ayia Thekla

Ayia Thekla is an emerging residential resort which lies just 6 km west of the cosmopolitan resort of Ayia Napa in Eastern Cyprus. Although residential, many of the properties for sale are popular for holiday rentals due to their close to the sea, quiet location and proximity to Ayia Napa.

The church at Ayia Thekla is one of the most photographed spots in Eastern Cyprus as it overlooks a clear blue lagoon which is protected by a small island, making the water very calm. With the pale sands this is the first of many beautiful beaches around the southern tip.

The main commercial town of the area, Paralimni, is only 10km away and Larnaca International airport is 45km making it only a thirty minute drive.

Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa is more famous for it's clubbing scene, however, this is well contained and the resort has so much more to offer. During the winter months this, once sleepy fishing village remains calm, but is still very popular with nature and sport enthusiasts.

Spring brings Easter and the first of many exciting festival celebrations which continue throughout the year. Each festival reflects historic, cultural and agricultural traditions of the area and always include delicious delicacies and traditional Cypriot folk dancing. Surprisingly Ayia Napa properties for sale have a high rental demand throughout the year due to it being a busy holiday resort for all nationalities during the summer and in the winter many Scandinavians retreat to the resort for a few months.
