One of the busiest Algarve tourist areas with houses built in Moorish style, picturesque winding alleys, lively squares and street musicians. It's an old part of the city, in which the spirit of medieval Portugal can still be felt.
In New Albufeira there's an effervescent nightlife with hundreds of bars, restaurants and discos where during summertime the buzz of various European languages can be heard and one can just join this pleasant atmosphere of cosmopolitan enjoyment.
