The central location of the Katschberg region in Austria makes it comfortably reachable by car; after leaving the highway it only takes about 5 more minutes. And within a distance of 1,5 to 3,5 hours, 5 international airports can be found.

In 2015 the former hotel has been redeveloped into an apartment hotel and has a total area of approx. 6.000 m2 with about 2.300 m2 living space. The 34 high-quality and fully furnished holiday apartments have between 47 and 107 m2 living space, balconies or terraces with up to 46 m2 and combine modern and contemporary design with alpine architecture.

The ski region has available about 70 km of slopes and in the surroundings 4 other ski areas can be found that have a total of more than 200 slopes. Further winter activities at Katschberg are cross-country skiing, winter hiking, night skiing, bobsleighing or horse-sleighing.

The region also has many highlights to offer during summer: around 200 hiking and Nordic-walking trails, 33 mountain bike trails, a golf club (only around 5 minutes away), rafting, canyoning, tandem flights, an alpine horse center and several swimming lakes (e.g. about 25 minutes to the Millstattersee).
