Coast/Beach - The main beach in Lagos is Meia Praia, a 15 minute walk from our apartment, or you can take the Onda! The 5km of sandy beaches at Meia Praia never get too crowded, and have loads of extras to offer, para-gliding, banana boats, wind-surfing and surfing. The beach has plenty of little cafes and bars. There are many other sandy coves and beaches nearby. Golf - Palmares Golf Club and Boavista are both conveniently located on the outskirts of Lagos. There are many other courses close. Secure storage for golf clubs and parking is available in the basement of our building. Special interest holidays - Lagos has everything to offer for the perfect family holiday. Fantastic days out can be experienced at the following locations, Zoomarine, Dolphin safaris, Jeep safaris and Slide and Splash water park. New to Lagos is the recently opened Algarve Autodrome, which is approved for Formula 1 testing. Travel - Faro airport is 50 minutes away, along the new A22 motorway. Taxis and car hire are available at Faro airport although a car is not necessary as the apartment is right in Lagos town. The train station is a short walk from the apartment. While the picturesque town of Lagos caters really well for its visitors, it is essentially very much a real working town.
