Description:

Currently recruiting a couple of drivers with a 1st shift schedule ( day shift) with scheduled days off being Wed / Thurs.
1st shift could have a start times anywhere from 7am to Noon.
Drivers work 5 days a week by schedule but can work an optional 6th day for extra pay.
All tractors on this fleet are day cabs with manual transmission.
Drivers must be legally licensed to operate.

A typical work shift will have multiple dispatches with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.
Expect to work a 10-12 hours per day with the average dispatch being a 50 mile radius from the rail ramp.
The Inter-modal yard is in Grantville, PA. 17028, all tractors will leave and return here daily.
All drivers must have their own transportation to commute to and from the yard daily.
Job Requirements
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Minimum 6 months in the last 12 months of Class A driving experience
Must meet the minimum requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
Must be able to drive a manual transmission
Must within 30 Miles of Grantville PA
Responsibilities:

Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck

Properly track and document activity log

Report any issues or incidents to dispatch

Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields

Commercial driver's license

Strong work ethic
