Lovely Riverside Home With Guest Cottage

River views and frontage
* 5 bedrooms
* Guest lodge
* 1.5 acre plot
* Edge of village, quiet location

This lovely riverside home built in the early 1900s sits on the edge of a peaceful village a short drive from the bustling market towns of Le Lude, Chateau-du-Loir and Chateau-la-Valliere. With 50m of river frontage (Le Loir) and nearly 1.5 acres of land along with a guest cottage (needs improving) this home has much to offer. Add to this the fact that the current owners replaced everything with new (heating, electricity, etc.) 8 years ago this home is just waiting for the new owners to come and enjoy.

Electric gates and graveled drive that runs alongside the front 'park area' arriving in front of the double length and double width garage next to the house. A choice of doors will lead you into either the 56m2 lounge/diner or via the rear porch covering the access to the fitted kitchen with wine cellar below. Downstairs you'll also discover a double bedroom (could be a study, games room, etc. etc.), bathroom (with bath, shower and wc) and walk-in pantry.

Upstairs are 3 double and 1 single bedrooms, family bathroom, landing area and access to the river facing terrace - ideal for those long warm evenings or breakfasts to watch the river life.

Outside in addition to the double/double garage there's a covered BBQ area and a separate guesthouse - offering lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom space on the ground floor - ripe for a make over and ideal for visiting family or guests. There's another good sized garage attached to this building as well.

Mains drainage and oil fired central heating complete this unique home. Priced to sell and nothing needing to be done (except in the guest lodge if you wished) this property is in an excellent location and beautifully presented in the heart of the Loir Valley an easy drive to Tours or Le Mans and further afield.
