Fully renovated historic water mil with complete equestrian facility set on 17,5 hectares of land in beautiful sunny Spain - an absolute dream property!
The Mill is a fully renovated old watermill (15th-16th century) originally used for irrigating fruit orchards and grinding corn. The many original grindstones are used on the site. The total surface of the property is 17.5 hectares and consists mainly of wood, there is the possibility to buy more land. About 2 hectares around the house is fully fenced. The property is on the border of “Les Gavarres”, a protected nature reserve of 28,000 m2. Additional constructions are therefore prohibited, making it a very peaceful place.

The surface of the original mill is 1.188,67 m2. The surfaces of the other buildings are 817.79 m2 and approx. 200M2.

The outbuildings
Adjacent to the main house we have a garage for 4 cars, a charming heated greenhouse, a vegetable garden, an apple orchard, a pen with a pretty chicken-house and a workshop. Behind the workshop a big back-up generator with full capacity.
The swimming-pool is located in a very private closed garden and benefits from several covered terraces.
There is an astonishing little chapel with beautiful 16-th century stained-glass windows and a rare antic marble alter with painted religious subjects.

Equestrian Facility
Next to the comfortable residence this property offers professional stables. This new building is located approximately 65 meters from the main house. In the vicinity of the estate, you will find the city of Girona, the beautiful beaches of Costa Brava, the PGA Catalunya golf course, the Girona Costa Brava airport and access to the highway France-Barcelona
The distance to cosmopolitan Barcelona is 95 km as is the distance to the various ski resorts in the Pyrenees.
