Lynvale Nursing Home - includes Dementia specific high care.
Situated in a quiet leafy area, Lynvale offers quality high-level care, including a dementia unit, for 81 residents.
A registered nurse is in attendance 24 hours a day, and is assisted by both enrolled and assistant nurses. A physiotherapist, podiatrist, hairdresser and beauty therapist visit Lynvale regularly. Dentistry, optometry, audiology, dietary and speech pathology services are also available for a reasonable cost.
A social activities calendar is published monthly by the diversional therapists and includes sing-alongs, cooking, quizzes, craft activities, entertainment and bus outings. Pastoral care is available to all residents via our roving chaplain. Uniting Church, Anglican and Catholic church services are regularly held at Lynvale, and we encourage residents to have regular contact with local clergy and lay people of their own faith.
Please note that an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment is required prior to entry into any residential care facility. To find your nearest Aged Care Assessment Team contact Commonwealth CareLink Centre on 1800 052 222 or visit their website. Vacancies are subject to ACAT assessment and availability.
