LOCATION
The villa is just 12km from the motorway exit of Orvieto and a few kilometres from the nearest town, Baschi. This is an ideal spot from which to visit the many Umbrian hilltop towns, such as Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto. Lake Bolsena and Lake Trasimeno are both within easy reach as are many archaeological sites, including the Roman town of Carsulae and the Etruscan tombs near Montecchio. Throughout the summer there are numerous Food festivals in the area and manyy vineyards which offer tastings and local olive mills.
