Cortijo El Gato is an absolutely charming traditional Andalucian cortijo of generous proportions. Although it comes under the municipality of Casarabonela it is actually located less than 1km from the tarmac country road between the pueblos of Alora and Carratracca. The total area of the property is 1,125m2 and the build size is approx 250m2 plus terraces and outbuildings. The main house offers accommodation on 2 levels. At garden level there is a very impressive open plan L-shape living room/dining room, an indoor kitchen and a very attractive large outdoor kitchen/dining area with bathroom & store room off. The upper level is reached by a majestic staircase and offers a large landing, 3 very large bedrooms and a family bathroom. In addition there are two guest bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms which enjoy separate access directly from the garden and would therefore be ideal for "paying guests".There are also two very large garage/workshops and an additional store-room. The walled garden hosts a swimming-pool and various fruit trees and there is a large terrace to the front of the house featuring decorative arches through which one can enjoy the stunning Southfacing views. Mains electricity, community water, telephone & internet are connected. This is an impressive property in a stunning rural yet easily accessible location and would be ideal either as a large family home or for development of a rural tourism business. .
