Part-Converted Barn With 3 Hectare Lake

Originally a dependance of the neighbouring logis, this barn has been converted and used as a successful restaurant.

Building

Ground floor

Large glazed doors open from the garden to the main reception room, which in total offers about 160m2 of habitable space with exposed stone feature walls, fireplace, exposed beams and a polished concrete floor. To one side is large cloakroom with disabled access. To the other end is a bar area.

To the back of the space there is access to the professional kitchen (27m2) and then through to the store rooms.

First floor

A flight of stairs leads up to a landing off which is a staff room with WC. From the landing a door opens to a huge unconverted first floor space (about 180m2) - with plenty of head-height and huge potential (subject to any relevant planning permissions).

Exterior

To the front of the building is a lovely area of lawn that overlooks the lake. To the side of the lake is a drive that leads to a large parking area.

This property offers a blank canvas to the new owner - a new fosse septique was installed in 2011 and there is a huge amount of undevelopped space just waiting to exploited. The views over the lake from the building and from the garden are wonderful and this would make a great home.
