Paseo de Gracia Refurbished 3 bed..

Barcelona is many things to many people but everyone would agree that there are few things more emblematic than Paseo de Gracia (Passeig de Gracia en Catalan) and few places that expresses Barcelona chic better. Imagine owning a property near the top of Paseo de Gracia, close to where Diagonal bisects the city. Just before Diagonal we come across Rossello which runs perpendicular to Paseo de Gracia. This is where this Paseo de Gracia refurbished 3 bed apartment is located. A fantastic opportunity to own something unique in the very best part of Barcelona.

The building itself was built in 1958 and was designed by the architect Robert Terradas. Now it has been refurbished and redeveloped by Carlos Ferrater one of the greatest Spanish architects. The building is listed as being one of the buildings in Barcelona that best illustrate rationalist architecture. The result of this is light, open spaces that are functional and flexible.

The apartment, as is expected in rationalist architecture, has an almost perfect layout. Based around a square the bedrooms form the top part of the layout with one en suite bathroom and one guest bathroom. the lounge is a generous square shape with a dining area making up an extra space aligned with the kitchen area. The apartment measures 151m2 total surface area.

With views over the Palau Robert gardens and also Diagonal Avenue this project achieves a wonderful balance between comfort, elegance and the true privilege that is living in the centre of Barcelona.

Of course a project of this kind in a location like this deserves the very best renovation possible. And this is what the developer has achieved. All of the apartments display quiet luxury with a certain sense of sobre discretion and elegance. The quality of materials is breathtaking and the symmetry within the building that follows the rationalist ideal is remarkable.
