Playa del Cura (The Pastor's Beach) on Gran Canaria is a small, quiet fishing village located on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria, the bottom of the Tauro Valley and just west of Puerto Rico.

This is a holiday paradise for all ages, who seek some quiet holidays with a well deserved relaxation, a quiet day on the fine lava beach, and the opportunity for a pleasant evening
in the fine seaside restaurants. The beaches are great in Playa del Cura and the area is well known for its beautiful bathing bays, where you can have a bit of privacy.

A small commercial centre offers easy access for those little necessities with its mini-market and a simple variety of restaurants and bars.

For the golfers the resort of Anfi Tauro Golf is nearby the complex El Cardenal. Boasting an 18 hole, par 72, championship course as well as a 9 hole, par 3 course and driving range, this really is a golfers paradise and is one of the 10 best in the world and has a lovely situation on several levels, with a view to the sea.

In Playa del Cura and the neighbouring valley of Tauro are new projects already approved to build a marina at Playa del Cura with an independent beach, shopping centre and new marina for around 300 boats in different sizes.
