Our client is a reputable Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) catering to regional wide industries that include oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, offshore and power plants.
They have established themselves as a leading company in engineering design services, project management, structural steel fabrication, installation and erection of mechanical equipment, piping works, civil and building works, fabrication and erection of pressure vessels and storage tanks, electrical and instrumentation works and process plant maintenance works.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Source materials/equipment according to technical specifications or their
equivalence for engineering department’s review and acceptance before purchasing
them both local internationally
• Coordinate with supplier/vendors and clients for Kick-off meeting and liaise project
team, QC department for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) as and when required
• Obtain test report and mill cert from manufacturer, instruction, operation and
maintenance manual (IOM) for capitalized items to evaluate product ensuring that
they meet specifications
• Perform commercial negotiation along with Project Manager on pricing, payment
terms, warranty period etc. and delivery lead time to meet project time-line budget
• Follow-up with vendors/suppliers for quotation, delivery status and expedites as and
when necessary to ensure products are delivered according to schedule
• Liaise with vendors/suppliers on submission of monthly manufacturing schedule
report and takes corrective actions, if necessary before presenting to clients
• Coordinate the arrival of shipment with the regional procurement department to
ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain and update vendor database system with market place information
including past experiences of the company using that vendor, pricing, quality and
reliability
• Prepare PO to successful vendor, ensure correct equipment received and process
invoice for Finance Department for payment
• Perform other ad-hoc duties that are being assigned by the Superior

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must possess at least a NiTEC, Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the Oil and Gas related Industry field is
required for this position.
• Preferred Singaporean
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing, Engineering - Oil/Gas or
equivalent.
