Property By The Sea

The entire land is flat, amphitheatrical, ideal for buidling luxury villas with swimming pool and one of the few, perhaps the only one by the sea, that is just 10km from the city centre.

Each plot is 4000m2, just 50meters from the sea with unobstructed views, as in front of them it is not permitted to build due to territorial sea. The nearest beach for swimming, which is one of the most beautiful of the island, is 500m far away.

Akrotiri is a peninsula, which is, located north-east of the city of Chania. Crete is the biggest Greek island and the second biggest island in the Eastern Mediterranean, after Cyprus. The island of Crete is well known for its ancient Minoan civilization and is the part of Greece with the greatest proximity to Africa. As a result Crete has a very mild climate, which provides an extended operating season for hospitality ventures, of almost eleven months per year.
Kalathas is an excellent home-base for visiting West Crete on the peninsula of Akrotiri. It¢s a new, quiet settlement, mainly for people who want to move out of Chania. It has seen a lot of building activity in recent years as more and more Cretans are moving out of town and tourist attraction due to it¢ s famous, quiet, sandy beach lined by pine trees and a lovely islet in front.
