This is a house and location which merits the description "spectacular". It sits at the end of a long track which runs parallel to the river La Gartempe. Situated above the river but within 30 metres or so it is the former home of the watermill owner, which remains in the grounds and which was used for grinding maize for cattle food. The property runs alongside the river La Gartempe and there is an open weir which provides a lovely sound of running water which somehow enhances the sense of isolation.
