Senior Bridge Design Engineer

Our client is one of the leading Infrastructure consultancies in Malaysia and across different continents. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate and lead structure design with other related disciplines
• Responsible for coordination and compliance of drawings with the authorities.
• Review and provide solutions to technical issues
• Present developments and solution to clients
• Attend meetings with clients and management

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQURIED

• Degree Civil Engineering
• Post-Graduate qualifications in Bridge/Structural Engineering and accreditation with local and international professional bodies will be preferred
• Must have 10-15 years of hands on experience on bridge Design
• Preferably working experience in design of long span bridges
• Must be well versed with Design software such as MIDAS, SAM-LEAP, ADAPT-abi, STAAD-Pro etc
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and ingenuity in solving structural programs and good knowledge of structural design theory and computer based applications
• Good exposure and understanding of international codes of practice.
• Excellent project skills, good communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Good team player
• Ability to lead a team on major bridge projects and taking responsibility for delivering quality product to program and budget
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
