This Southern Cross Care (Qld) Retirement Village is perfectly situated within the hub of the city, country and sea. At Edens Landing, south of Brisbane.

You are not far from the fabulous beaches, local shopping and night life offered on the Gold Coast. With the scenic national parks and arts and craft village of Tamborine Mountain close by, there is so much to see and do.

Southern Cross Retirement Village is still just 30 minutes from the heart of Brisbane City.

It is an established retirement village, boasting beautiful gardens, close proximity to public transport and shares a wonderful relationship with the residents and staff of the co-located Connolly Court Hostel. Co-location means that if your partner needs a level of aged care before you, he or she will be able to access the aged care facility and the two of you will not be separated.

Residents enjoy services such as the hair dressing salon within the grounds of the retirement village and opportunities to socialise and form friendships are easy within the fully equipped Community Centre offering residents a range of activities, including:

Library area

Special events and get togethers are regularly organised by the residents' committee and this enables residents to enjoy companionship with residents with similar interests. Southern Cross Retirement Village has its own resident bus, so events are also organised off site. Outings include regular trips to local shopping centres and day trips, providing even more opportunities to socialise with your fellow residents from the retirement village community.

Southern Cross Care (Qld) Inc is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation registered under the Queensland Government ‘Associations Incorporation Act’.

We originally operated under the banner 'Southern Cross Homes for the Aged Inc' as a direct reflection of our core services.

In August 2001 we changed our name to Southern Cross Care (Qld) Inc to reflect our broader role, which now covers retirement villages and community care services.

We have grown significantly since our beginnings, and now boast aged care facilities right across South East Queensland.

We manage 6 retirement villages and low cost housing, 4 rental unit complexes and 11 residential aged care facilities.

The Community Care at Home arm of our organisation operates across South East Queensland, with main offices in Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.
