With more than 950 residents living across 13 aged care communities in Queensland, Wesley Mission Brisbane is a leader in aged care.

St Mark’s is an ageing in place aged care community set within Wesley Mission Brisbane’s Wheller Gardens complex at Chermside.

St Mark’s residents enjoy all the services and benefits of being part of the wider Wheller Gardens community that is home to over 350 residents across 4 communities.

St Marks has 62 rooms, with some double rooms available for couples. With ‘ageing in place’ care, available, residents can stay at St Mark’s regardless of how their care needs change.

All Wesley Mission Brisbane aged care communities aspire to live by the Eden Philosophy of care, which aims to provide spontaneity and variety to maximise each resident’s quality of life and reduce loneliness, helpless ness and boredom. As part of this journey of care St Mark’s has its own pets that provide quality companionship to residents.

St Mark’s is an easy walking distance from the Wheller Gardens’ Therapy Centre, giving residents convenient access to physiotherapy, podiatry and nutritional advice. Residents’ personal physicians are also welcome to visit St Mark’s for in-home visits.

Other services available on-site include: a bowling green, library, hair salon, family cafe, chapel and community hall. These facilities place an emphasis on well-being and enjoyment, and bring a strong sense of community to St Mark’s.

Wheller Gardens is opportunely located in easy walking distance to public transport, Westfield shopping centre, multiplex cinemas and restaurants.
