Price Reduced from €49,950 - €40,000 - Lovely old house for renovation in Casais Maduros

This detached 40 m2 house is set in 3200 square metres of land which is flat and fertile with a number of trees including walnut, citrus fruit, nesbora and olive in the village of Casais Moduros about 5 kilometres from the market town of Ansiao.

Ansiao has all everyday amenities including banks, schools, health centre, supermarkets, shops and a weekly market. It is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours from both Lisbon and Porto airports and has good links to the A1 and A13 motorways. The historical towns of Tomar and Coimbra are both about 40 minutes drive. It is just a short drive from a number of River Beaches, famous in this area of Portugal.

The main part of the house is pre 1937 and built in stone, the roof is intact and it still has many original features.

There is a cisterna for collecting rain water and animal sheds. There is also an Eira and a small detached barn.

There is potential to renovate and extend the property to create a great two storey property and there is loads of room for a pool.

Access to the property is good.

Mains electricity is connected to the property and mains water and telephone are close by.

The property is situated in a quiet country lane with lovely views across the countryside to the hills beyond.

It is walking distance from a small cafe. The area is fantastic for walking and cycling.

This would be a great project for anyone looking for a self-sufficient lifestyle where they can raise animals, grow their own vegetables and produce their own olive oil.
