The Summit House 155 & 200 Sabin Drive..

Set high atop prestigious Red Mountain and overlooking Aspen and all four ski areas, the Summit House lives up to its name on many levels. As one of the most magnificent homes ever built in Colorado, the irreplaceable size, premier location, expansive views, and numerous amenities are unrivaled in Aspen. Beginning with a private six acre site, the 18,000 square foot main home is accommodating in every regard, yet an additional building right of nearly 4,150 square feet plus deck space allows for an expansion to complete a compound that even the most worldly would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. The size of this home cannot be duplicated under current land use codes, making this legacy home a rare commodity indeed.

From concept to completion, nothing was out of bounds for a development team that took over five years to bring this project to fruition. The vision for this truly unique and unparalleled home was to incorporate a thoughtful architecture statement with exquisite and exotic finishes, custom designed furniture, unique and original art, and state-of-the-art audio, visual, and lighting systems culminating in a singular living experience.

That's what this offering is all about; living like only few can, in a home that defines the Aspen experience. Breathtaking views greet everyone who enters with expansive floor to ceiling windows framing more of the Colorado Rockies than thought possible from one location. Though opulent and lavish, there is nothing cold or trendy. The finishes are warm and inviting and the living spaces are up to the task. The well-appointed kitchen is the perfect combination for day to day prep or a catered event, and the adult playroom, club room, formal dining room, spectacular great room, and upper lounge accommodate entertaining on a modest or grand scale. It's your choice - whether its dinner for 2 or 200, this home stands ready to accommodate.

Overnight guests are enveloped in the same richness found throughout the house with fireplaces, gracious bathrooms, beautiful furnishings, and far-reaching views in every suite. Whether indoors or out, the lights of Aspen are front and center from the private decks and negative edge plunge pool.

If staff quarters are required, a completely private apartment with kitchen and living spaces is accessed through a separate entrance.

Although each of the attributes of this home are special in their own right, if possible, their sum is even more spectacular. Summit House is heralded as the quintessential Aspen home, and the one by which all others either present or future will be judged.
