Willard Marine's long history of manufacturing quality boats dates back to 1957. They were the first company to offer a line of production fiberglass trawlers, beginning with the William Garden designed Vega 36 in 1961. These trawlers were followed by a wide variety of models based on 30, 36, 40, and 47-foot hulls. Willard Marine ceased production of recreational vessels in 2003 to focus on military and patrol boat markets, with their trawler yachts and sailboats still in high demand today due to their rugged simplicity and full displacement hulls.
