* Living area
As you enter the chalet there is a large open plan lounge, the room is all natural wood, light and spacious with the ceiling going to the full height of the chalet with exposed beams.

There is a large wood burning fireplace in the middle of the room. On this floor you also have a walk in cloakroom with linen and towel storage cupboards.

* Downstairs Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Off from the lounge area is a small room with adult size bunk beds. The downstairs double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which has a shower, basin, toilet and plenty of storage. This large bedroom has been separated into two. In the separate area are adult size bunk beds and clothes storage. This room has a small mezzanine floor above, accessible by steep vertical ladders, where there are 2 single beds and clothes storage area. This mezzanine room is ideal for children. Bathroom. Another bathroom has a bathtub with overhead electric shower (so no worries of running out of hot water for showers), basin and mirror wall cabinets with plenty of storage space.

* Upstairs Bedroom
The upstairs bedroom is a large open plan room with a double bed and a double pull out sofa bed. From this room you access the small private balcony with lovely views across the garden to woodlands.

* Terrace and Patios
At the main entrance of the chalet is a large decked terrace. There is a secure ski locker here.
There a large patio to the side of the chalet that gets the sun all day. There is a further smaller patio at the bottom of the garden that has fantastic views of the mountains and is sheltered by large conifer trees when the sun is very hot.

* Outside
This chalet has spectacular garden (40m2), ideal for sunbathing and children's games and football. The garden is very private with large hedges surrounding it. The bottom of the garden leads into beautiful woodlands. To the side of the chalet is the Giffre river which has a tow path running alongside. From this path you can walk into Verchaix village, only a few hundred yards or you can continue past the chalet for an unspoilt river walk.

* The Chalet Complex
Hameaux Du Giffe is a private chalet complex set in a preservation area along the Giffre river valley in the Haute-Savoie region. The site offers a site manager, children's games room, outdoor play area with slides etc, table tennis, billiards, laundry room with washing machine & tumble drier. At the entrance of the complex is "Le Caribou" which is an excellent restaurant and bar.

* Skiing
The chalet is ideally located for winter skiing. Morillon village is part of the Grand Massif ski area, the 4th largest ski area in France and has 265km of pistes for all standards of skiers. There is a wide variety of off-piste terrain, used by the Ski Club of Great Britain for some of its powder skiing courses, with Flaine being at 2480m.

* Summer Activities
The Grand Massif includes Morillon, Samoens, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval, all with stunning views and a huge range of activities all year round. Verchaix and Samoens are working villages so everything is open all year round. Summer is just as popular as winter.
The chalet is ideally placed for summer holidays with "Le Lac Bleu", a recreational / activities area that is just 2 minutes' walk. Here there is swimming, fishing, horse riding, tennis, trampolining, mountain bike trails etc. The chalet overlooks the Giffre river which offers rafting, canyoning, kayaking and other water sports.
For cyclists there are many mountain bike trails and the Tour de France route, Col du Joux Plane 1700m is accessible from the beautiful and historic village of Samoens just 3km away.
Fantastic for walkers at any time of the year, explore the beautiful nature reserve and spectacular waterfalls at Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval or head up into the mountains.
