JOB TITLE

MVAC Engineer/ Senior MVAC Engineer

Our multinational main contractor client is hiring MVAC/ HVAC Engineers for their contracts in Hong Kong.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Are you currently an experienced MVAC Engineer in Hong Kong?
Do you have previous experience working on new construction projects?
Are you looking to progress your E&M career with a market leading main contractor?
You will proactively manage and monitor the MVAC/ Building Services installations for our client, while ensuring that the specified levels of quality and safety performance are achieved within time & budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all MVAC installations are compliant with The Specifications and Contract Documents.
Review and respond to Technical specs & material submissions from sub-contractors and the client.
Review material submittals for compliance with the Contract Documents.
Review the drawings and calculations against Contract Documents.
Plan and control the inspection and installation of all E&M equipment on site
Coordinate the E&M work with Architectural, and Specialist contractors
Attend weekly meetings and report on all aspects of the E&M installations.
Review, monitor and report on the Project construction schedule.
Witness Testing, Commissioning of the E&M systems.
Ensure all Non-Conformance Reports, and Engineer’s comments relating to any E&M submissions, including materials, drawings & method statements, have been addressed to the satisfaction of Client’s Representative.

REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering
Minimum 3+ years' experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems. Other Building Services experience an advantage
Must possess good communication & managerial skills, English language skills an advantage.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a self-motivated, innovative, mature, result-orientated attitude and ability to work independently.
