Stafford Lakes Private Hostel was opened in July 2000 providing a private and comfortable lifestyle within a quality environment.

10 fully furnished apartments, each with their own living area, kitchenette, bedroom with ensuite, balcony or patio, climate controlled air conditioning, heat lamp in bathroom, private telephone line and 24 hour emergency call system

Residents can also enjoy well appointed lounge and sitting rooms, together with our fully landscaped gardens

A covered walkway links the Hostel to Stafford Lakes Private Aged Care Residence. This close proximity ensures that residents with partners requiring a higher level of care still live in close proximity to each other

Residents have priority access to the Aged Care Residence if the need arises

Extra service facilities offer a wider choice of food and beverage menus, alcohol served with the evening meal, valet laundry service, personalised physiotherapy and activity programs, onsite hairdresser, cable TV access and regular bus outings.

As the largest private provider in Queensland, TriCare owns and operates 14 Aged Care Residences throughout southeast Queensland and 9 Retirement Communities across QLD, NSW and VIC.

Residents in our Aged Care Residences are provided with all meals, nursing and personal care, activities programs and laundry service. All centres are resident focused, promoting an environment where independence, dignity, respect and the optimum level of care are paramount.

Many TriCare Aged Care Residences offer special needs units to cater for residents who suffer from dementia. These secure environments provide pleasant gardens and recreational areas, allowing the wandering resident the freedom to move about safely without restraint.

Respite care is offered at most TriCare aged care facilities. This service provides those people who currently receive in-home assistance access to aged care facilities for up to 63 days in any financial year.

For residents who are able to afford the very best in nursing care and accommodation, TriCare provides private facilities with extra services at their hostels and a number of nursing centres. For an additional daily fee, residents enjoy single suites with private bathrooms, menu selection, alcoholic beverages with the evening meal, personalised care programs and luxurious surroundings.
