Originally from Japan, this is one of a dozen MD500E's imported in the late 90's to New Zealand and it has been a solid and reliable work horse. Maintenance and AD/SB status is fully compliant and it recently had new glass fitted. Our turbine overhaul shop recently benefited from over $100,000 in a fresh turbine overhaul and the component run sheet presents a good working helicopter with good component times remaining.
