2 Bedroom Apartment For Sale

Recently refurbished while retaining all of its original appeal, this elegant, 2-bedroom char-acter apartment, is situated right in the centre of the medieval walled city of Carcassonne. It has a massive 161m2 of habitable space. It's the ideal lock-up-and-leave property and is only 6kms from the airport.

This beautiful 19th Century apartment is stylish and elegant. It is part of a very handsome building in the style of Haussman, the classic Parisian architect. It is situated plumb in the centre of Carcassonne with all the shops, services and restaurants within 500m.

Carcassonne Airport with budget flight connections to the UK and elsewhere is a mere 6 kms away and the railway station is just 1 km from the property. And the weather is warmer, sunnier and more reliable than further inland.

The apartment is situated in a very appealing, small building and, having been only recent-ly been refurbished, is in excellent condition and ready to move into. It has gas-fired cen-tral heating as well as double-glazing and is thus ideal for all-year use.

There is a large and light-filled living room, a study, an elegant dining room and a separate fitted kitchen as well as a utili-ty room.
