The larger village of Mézin is 15km away and here there are more shops as well as a weekly Sunday morning market in the main square. The towns of Nérac, Lavardac and Condom are 25 to 35km away where there are supermarkets and other big shops for building materials, hardware and main dealerships for car servicing. Just 65km away is Agen, the capital of the Lot-et-Garonne department, with direct TGV link to Paris and air connection to Orly Airport.




The house has mains water and electricity and telephone and Internet connection. An 8 metre deep well provides water all summer for the garden. There is private drainage.




The bus service between Mont de Marsan and Agen passes through Sos, usually on schedule, and connects with the TGV services at Agen where the nearest local airport can also be found. Budget airlines fly to Bergerac and Pau (both 110 km) and the larger international airports of Bordeaux and Toulouse are both 160km away.




The last Taxe Foncière bill amounted to a modest 343 € for the year.
