Both towns have all the necessary amenities for living in the area eg. shops, medical facilities, restaurants and Bars. Puerto de Mazarron in particular is very popular with the Spanish themselves for their holidays.

It has a lovely coast line with Blue Flag standard beaches, lovely coves and a wonderful landscape. It is surrounded by numerous ranges of hills and mountains.
