34' CAL Mark III 1977

Nice Cal 34 Mark III sailing yacht and this is a great Cal 34 sailboat for sale in Portland Oregon.  Features a wheel with Autohelm auto-pilot instead of typical tiller steering which sets this apart from the competition alone. Everything works great. Just loaded with special features you won't find on most sailboats. Both standing rigging and running rigging are in good shape. Nice sail inventory.

Cal 34 Mark III, specifically, was promoted as more of a blue water cruiser than previous versions. A bridgedeck was added, with companionway offset to starboard. Most of the changes to the interior were also consistent with the theme of an offshore cruiser with additional wood trim.

Among other changes:

Fuel and water tank capacity was further increased.

Heavier gauge standing rigging.
