Perhaps a game of boules in Rouillac or a 'flutter' in the gambling ‘Café du Commerce’ in Aigre, where the locals meet really early for their morning coffee, a shot of brandy and a game of lotto!




The enormous sandy beaches of Royan, Didier St George or further up to La Rochelle are all within easy reach for a day basking in the sun.
