The owner, a graduate from the Maritime College of New York State University with an unlimited 3rd Mates Coast Guard License is a life-long sailor.   With 30 years’ experience in the marine related industry, the owner has meticulously looked after and maintained Traveler, a 3- cabin Beneteau Oceanis 423.   Traveler is a CE-certified Unlimited Offshore “A” Category boat.   She was designed, built, and maintained to take family and friends most anywhere in comfort, safety, and style.   Traveler has three private staterooms.   The staterooms have adult-sized double berths fitted with premium custom mattresses installed in 2018.   Two more can sleep in the salon on the dining table that converts to a double berth.   Traveler has sleeping accommodations for up to eight adults.   Traveler has a Royal Blue hull, red boot stripe,  teak toe rails, and teak cockpit trim.   She looks stylish.   She is a modern sailing yacht.

John Kretschmer reviewed the 423 for Sailing magazine.   He wrote, “Powerful, high quality cruiser packed with innovative features and cruising comforts.”   The PHRF-NE base racing handicap of 102 is evidence that the 423 has a powerful rig, it is not a slow sailor.

Traveler can be sailed by a couple or single-handed by a skilled sailor.   She has roller furling sails, electric winches, an autopilot, an electric windlass, a chartplotter, and radar to ease the work of the crew.   She would be a joy to cruise or race anywhere on the Great Lakes, the East or West coasts of the Americas, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, or for that matter anywhere where there is open water.   Her mast height allows unimpeded access under the bridges on the Intracoastal Waterway.   The current owner has taken family, children, and  friends on wonderful summer trips.   Traveler has also been used for short day or night sails on Lake Erie.   She is in Bristol condition.   She is on the water awaiting your inspection at the Cleveland Yachting Club.
